Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel, who is facing check bounce charges, has received a jolt from the Ranchi Civil Court. The court of Judicial Magistrate DN Shukla has imposed a compensation of five hundred rupees on Ameesha Patel.

Actually, the court had fixed the date of hearing of the case today. During this, a witness Deepu Singh was offered on behalf of film producer Ajay Kumar Singh of Jharkhand, who filed a case against the actress. However, Amisha’s counsel said that he was not yet prepared to cross-examine or cross-examine the witness. The advocate sought some time from the court for this.

Expressing displeasure over this, the court has imposed a compensation of Rs 500 and fixed the next date of hearing on August 7. Significantly, Ameesha Patel is facing a check bounce case of Rs 2.5 crore. The hearing of the case is going on in the court of Judicial Magistrate Digvijay Nath Shukla. The actress surrendered to the court on June 17, when she got bail on two bail bonds of ten thousand rupees.

It is alleged that Ameesha Patel had taken Rs 2.5 crore from Ajay Singh in the name of making the film Desi Magic. As per the agreement, when the film did not release in June 2018, Ajay demanded money. After procrastination, two checks of Rs 2.5 crore and Rs 50 lakh were given in October 2018, which bounced. After this Ajay Singh sued him. Argora resident Ajay Kumar Singh had filed a complaint against Ameesha Patel in the CJM court on November 17, 2018.
