The process of admission to the primary classes of Delhi government schools is going on from 28 June 2021. The application forms for enrollment in Nursery, KG and Class I in Government Sarvodaya Vidyalayas for the academic session 2021-22 are available from June 28. Parents or guardians who are willing to enroll their child can obtain the application form from the respective schools. The last date to fill and submit the form is July 12, 2021.
Regarding the application for admission in these classes of Delhi, the Directorate of Education, Delhi had shared the information on June 24 through its official Twitter handle. The Directorate of Education had also shared the copy of the circular for enrollment in entry level classes with its Twitter handle. In which it was said that children living within 1 kilometer radius of the school will be eligible to apply for admission. However, if no Sarvodaya Vidyalaya is available within 1 km area then children residing within 3 km radius are eligible to apply.
Let us inform that the Delhi Government has also started a help desk in association with the school management committee and teachers. The parents or guardians of the children have been advised to get the application form checked through the help desk. At the same time, the Directorate of Education has also made it clear that no handicapped child, destitute child or migrant child will be denied admission. The nominations are to be selected through a draw to be held on July 20.
